Changing Settings

Use this procedure to change parameters P1 and P2, see Settings.

Entering programming mode

  1. Remove the battery, tilt and hold the tilted probe.
  2. Insert the battery and screw the cap (still holding the tilted probe) – the green LED lights up.
  3. After 2 seconds the green LED goes out and the red LED lights up.
  4. Release the probe to the basic position. The green LED lights up for 1 second and then goes out. The probe is ready to determine P1.

Tip

If the green LED starts flashing after releasing the touch, the transition to programming mode failed and the entire procedure needs to be repeated.

Setting parameter P1

  1. The number of short touches of the touch pad determines the value of parameter P1. The touches should be less than 0.5 s long. The red LED copies the touch pad state.
  2. A long touch longer than 1 s ends the P1 setting. If we have not previously made any short touches, the P1 value remains unchanged.
  3. The probe repeats the P1 parameter value by briefly flashing the green LED as many times as P1.
  4. The green LED lights up for 1 s and then goes out. The probe is ready to determine P2.

Setting parameter P2

  1. The number of short touches of the touch pad determines the value of parameter P2. The touches should be less than 0.5 s long. The red LED copies the touch pad state.
  2. A long touch longer than 1 s ends the P2 setting. If we have not previously made any short touches, the P2 value remains unchanged.
  3. The probe repeats the value of parameter P2 by flashing the green LED as many times as P2.
  4. The green LED starts flashing and the probe is ready for use.
