Improper use can damage the touch probe or the machine.

Handle the touch probe with care as if it were a precision measuring device.

Limit the machine travel to prevent damage.

Keep the touch probe clean.

Read and follow all instructions from the machine tool manufacturer.

Do not defeat the machine's safety systems.

NOTICE

The touch probe can be damaged by short circuit, incorrect connection or setting and unsuitable supply voltage.

Aggressive liquids can damage the seal. Do not operate the touch probe in a working environment with aggressive coolants! Coolants must not contain aggressive components that can damage plastic or rubber parts (e.g.: acetone, alcohol, ethanol, methanol, cleaning benzine, solvents, etc.).

Don't use compressed air.
