Battery

NOTICE

Incorrect assembly may damage the touch probe.

After removing the screw plug, check that the seal is undamaged.

Keep the battery compartment completely clean and dry.

Lightly grease the sealing ring with a suitable grease before closing the compartment.

Use only SAFT LS 14250 1/2AA, 3.6 V / 1.2 Ah Lithium battery.

Tip

Dispose of the battery in accordance with local regulations.

  1. Clean the probe carefully before opening.
  2. Loosen and unscrew the battery cap screw.
  3. Remove the battery.
  4. Clean the sealing surface carefully and dry it with absorbent paper.
  5. Insert a new battery. Pay attention to the correct polarity of the battery.
  6. Insert and screw in the battery cap screw. Be careful not to press the touch while closing, otherwise the touch probe will automatically go into programming mode.
  7. After a few seconds, the probe will go into READY mode and is ready for use.
